Rev. Michael J. Neel

Rev. Michael Neel grew up in Hanover Park, Illinois.  While attending Saint Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, where he received a B.A. in History and Religion, Michael answered the call to serve in a vocation. After graduating from Saint Olaf, he attended Wartburg Theological Seminary in Dubuque, Iowa, where he received a Masters in Divinity. His summers were spent at Lake Wapogasset Lutheran Bible Camp to host a variety of activities that are meant to impact kids for eternity. Michael has previously served congregations in Western New York and Des Moines, Iowa. Michael was called to serve Immanuel Lutheran Church in August of 2012.

Michael is a family man, happily married to Katherine since 2005. They have three energetic sons. He enjoys playing disc golf and drinking copious amounts of coffee.
